Spotlight: Thailand’s New Wanderfruit Music Festival

Thailand welcomes a new festival this December: Wonderfruit, which aims to be one of the region’s best eco-friendly music, arts and food events. The three-day festival will be going down in Chonburi, a coastal town about 1.5 hours outside Bangkok, and will feature all kinds of fun—from art installations to outdoor yoga, not to mention dozens of live performances. The multi-genre acts include the likes of funk-masters De La Soul, electro poppers Little Dragon, chill acoustic musician José González, and ultra-hip DJ Damian Lazarus—all performing across six stages. But since this is Thailand, let’s not skip the food: there will be pop-up eateries, Asian street food stalls, barbecues, food trucks, and plenty of booze.
Dec 19-21. Three-day tickets from $1,480 at www.wonderfruitfestival.com.
